NBJ Video Interview: PCGA’s Janica Lane Dishes on Nutrition Industry Investment

Signs of an economic revival continue to bubble up but most experts agree that achieving a full recovery will be a slow process. What does this mean for investment activity within the U.S. nutrition industry and which sectors are currently doing the most to whet investor appetite? Nutrition Business Journal Editor Carlotta Mast posed these questions to Janica Lane, a principal at Partnership Capital Growth Advisors, during the Natural Products Expo East in September. Activity will continue to pick up, Lane said, but transaction values will be smaller. “All the trends have shown that smaller, mid-market companies are attracting a lot of attention from a much wider investor set than previously,” Lane added.
