Supermarket Chain Shaking Up Employer-Sponsored Healthcare
Hannaford Bros. Supermarkets recently enlisted RedBrick Health to run a healthcare program designed to help employees take more ownership of their personal health. This is part of a transition from employer-sponsored health care to consumer-owned health care.
RedBrick , a health services company, offers services that provide employees with financial tools and incentive behavior credits, a customized personal HealthMap while also saving Hannaford money through improved engagement in health programs and better management of healthcare interaction.
RedBrick Health CEO Kyle Rolfing said, “We look forward to a long-term partnership with Hannaford that will not only motivate and support its associates as they take ownership of their health, but also begin to change the financial underpinning of how employers and associates share the cost of health care coverage.” More information is available here.
